[Drawing 1:1]Description (Modern)Lower part of a fired clay plaque depicting a blessing goddess; baked clay; moulded; relief; the goddess Ishtar stands, facing forwards, on a lion which is going right; wears multi-horned head-dress; hair in bunch on either side of the face; left hand extended; right hand bent in at waist; possibly wearing cape which covers shoulders and right arm but leaves rest of body bare; flat back; pinching at the head.
