'Squatting monkey, with head in profile, and widespread legs and arms. With the left he catches a scorpion by the tail and with the right a flying bird. Cf. the woman squatting between two scorpions (Nos. 268-70).

'UE III: a pictographic inscription which is almost a duplicate of the one above. The same cross sign divided into four quarters round a central circle, with the addition of two legs, two hands, and two stars. An elaborate UB sign with four horns on the four sides of a square divided into four main fields and four smaller ones. Pictographic signs of Ur (?), Kesh, and Adab.
