Context Title: Room 2
Context Name (Publication): Room 21
Context Description: Room 2 was unpaved except for the NE corner where there was a patch of brick pavement surrounding the intake of a drain; against the north wall was a quantity of wood ash. The walls had five courses of burnt brick and on the north side there was on the top of this (0.75 m. above the floor) a later wall running along the earlier but at a slightly different angle and with a return, across the room which divided it into two; it belonged to a reconstruction of which no other evidence remained, and no sense could be made of it.2
