Context Title: Room 4
Context Name (Publication): Room 41
Context Description: Room 4 was in the form of a truncated triangle so as to allow of a rectangular lay-out of the interior rooms and was brick-paved; there was possibly a rise of floor level to correspond to the first raising of the threshold, but if so the new floor was only of clay over the old brick pavement; with the making of the higher threshold the floor did not rise but was approached by steps leading down. The walls had five courses of burnt brick with mud brick above standing to a total height of 3.05 m.; there was no sign of the roof.2
