Description (Catalog Card) : Large black diorite gate-socket, dedicated in the cult-temple of GIMIL-SIN, king of Ur (3rd Dynasty), by a certain Lugal-magu-rri, patesi of Ur. The inscription of 16 lines is engraved on the upper surface partly surrounding the socket hole.
