Description (Modern): 65 alternating gold and lapis biconical beads, beginning and ending with lapis. The 33 lapis beads are almost all squat biconical, but a few are balls. The 32 gold beads are small barrel-biconical, some of which are more biconical than barrel.2

Notes: When Woolley excavated the beads, he strung them according to how they were in the ground. Legrain later strung them as necklaces and gave them B numbers.
