| Description (Modern): | Round object with raised central area and concentric ridges. : Fragments of a large, shallow dish with 6 concentric ridges around the walls. Illustrated by Woolley in the excavation report (Woolley, Royal Cemetery, vol. II, pl. 234 No. 31; in situ photograph pl. 184). The drawing shows a flat base, which is now missing, and the ridges are reversed, with the convex surface facing the exterior instead of the interior. The drawing is not identified by a field number, but it is almost certainly the plate illustrated in the in situ photograph, which is the correct field number. |
