Description (Modern): | Hand-modelled fragment of a female figure; fired clay; right side only remaining, to the waist; remaining arm is bent in and was possibly originally at the breast; applied eye pellets remain; head band broken but the side and the back remain as does part of the fan at the back; a large applied curl with incised decoration remains; there are five rows of applied, incised strips for necklaces.1 |
