Description (Modern): | Fragment of fired clay plaque depicting female figure in relief; mould-made; female head with oval eyes with slits, mouth with a slit and heavy eyebrows; hair bunched behind ears; band around head; hair in large fan at back of head; above right shoulder is a crescent and star/rosette and a rosette can be seen on her right shoulder; traces of bitumen at the break suggest that it was repaired in antiquity.1 |
