Description (Modern): | Fired clay plaque depicting two anthropomorphic figures in relief; possibly depicts a bearded(?) male and a female; both figures have triangular heads with eyes; hair or a head-dress at the top of the head; breasts depicted close to waist and ribcage (or waistband?) indicated by a horizontal line; short legs; arms (or cloak?) come down at sides to feet, perhaps intending to depict the figures in a crouching position; design is carved and incised rather than mould made; coarse chaff-tempered yellow-buff clay.1 |
