Description (Modern): | Fragment of glass bowl; flat and broad rim, convex sides; body perhaps slightly deeper than a hemisphere; quality of glass is very good, very few bubbles; cast by the lost-wax technique; finished by grinding and polishing; colourless with very light greenish tinge; surface badly damaged by light brownish, incipient weathering layer, which has partly flaked-off and caused serious pitting. |
