Bracelets and anklets are distinguished based on where they are found on the body.  Other terms that might be used in describing these objects are armlets, bangles, and wristlets.  These are defined by material type, size, and place found on the arms.  However these are hard to distinguish in the archaeological record, hence they are all combined.  They are made of metal or strings of beads.
