Fibulae
This category includes objects like a brooch, with the function of fastening cloth.
Fibulae are made of four components, the body, pin, spring, and hinge. Decorations are located along the body. This object is an improvement over a straight pin because of the clasp and the curved body. Diffferences in style may be indications of different periods, or of individual style.
