Description (Modern): | The statue is a figure of a seated ram carved in stone, gypsum (?). The face and horns are well defined. The fore legs are disproportionately small, and the body is long and narrow. The behind and back legs are not indicated. There is a hole through the width of the body at the center near the front that was presumably part of its original function. The figure was part of a pair, and was likely used to support a throne. |
