Description (Catalog Card): Vulture's head. Mottled dark steatite. The eyes deeply hollowed to receive inlay. The lower side of the head is smoothly finished, with no sign of any attachment to a body: the head might have been used for a weight (?) or, is isolated, as an amulet. Fine bold work.1
